Knowledge and support

STIL offers basic courses for both supervisors and assistants.

As a new supervisor in STIL, you receive a supervising-introduction. It should give you the knowledge and tools you need for your assistance to be as good as possible. After the introduction you receive courses from the office according to your needs. For example, it could be a course in project finances, scheduling, or hiring. If several supervisors want training in the same things, STIL will organize a joint course. You can also participate in peer support to receive knowledge and support in getting the assistance you want. If you want, you can take courses not organized by STIL.

It is you as a supervisor who decides what training your personal assistants need to get. If you have a co-supervisor, you decide what courses your co-supervisor needs to take. In STIL both supervisors and assistants can take courses.
